Memories that Gives you Joy.
In the year 1999 I met such a beautiful soul (Janic Voth ) from Canada.she was the first tourist that I met in Manali who has great passion for every single Jewish soul.she use to help the Israeli travellers when they were in High Drug, accidental cases,lost their belongings or they are in any need that they need.some how I was connected to Janic voth and we were helping Israeli travellers.I still remember my first experience with one Israeli girl whom we brought to the Hospital when she was in bad condition.she was in a shock when her boy friend run away after police search in jungle party and she was already in extra doses of drugs.five days we kept her in a Hospital until her father came to see her and then he took her back home.we kept helping people and asking them if they need any thing or if some one is in need please let us know.some Israeli friends started visiting janice voth in her rented home.1999 to 2005 we helped so many Israeli friends.in the year 2005 I met with a passionate Man Jesse from USA.he came with an Idea to start a cafe in Old Manali as a base and business where from we can help Israeli people he him self is a Jew.work started with cafe and meeting so many Israeli traveler was the most amazing experience. I learnt a lot through Jesse about Israelis and their life in Israel and after army here in India.it helped me a lot to understand them.then of course many people came so close to my life where I can understand them individual.year 2006 when my friend Jesse went back to USA and cafe was closed down,same time i lost my previous job as well.I was job less,hope less and depressed,In that moment few close friends helped me to re-start the place.one of my friend Michela helped me by donating some left over paint,another friend Steve helped me with 1500/-Rs.cash so i can use this money as seed money.Then my friend Jesse helped me by donating 40Kg coffee beans.Michela's donated different paints i mixed together and painted the old wall and gray color appeared this gray color is the color of God's faith fullness in my life how God provided my need.Till today my coffee house is painted in gray color to remind me God's faithfulness and my beginning days.
One side of wall in My coffee house is painted with the picture of Bob Dylan. this picture also painted by five different travelers and final touch is given by ( keren ) friend of mine from Israel, now she lives in London with her husband Danny.coffee house started for the season and slowly people started recognising this place and travelers started passing word of mouth to other travelers that go to a coffee shop which coffee shop has picture of Bob Dylan on the wall. and Israeli travelers started calling it Dylan cafe.
After one year friend of mine Eric suggested me better I should change the name of the place.Eric is the man who taught me to make most tasty chocolate Chip cookies,these cookies given me such a big name and success.Today I have big group as a fan club members in face book for these cookies.I changed the name of the place and New name came in ( Dylan's Toasted & Roasted coffee House ) and now Dylan's Toasted & Roasted Coffee House is most known name in Old Manali and Arambol North Goa.
Same season one day I met Haya & Manoch most beautiful souls in my cafe.they both were taking care of First Israeli warm house in Old Manali.first I met their three daughters, (Ortal,Yifat & Dolev)beautiful sisters in my life.Most delicious Desert in my coffee house call Hello to Queen is taught by Yifat.
then same season I met a talented photographer from Hifa(Israel) Erez later on he became one of good friend in my life.I encouraged him to do his photo exhibition and release his pictures in to postcard. today his postcards are good selling item at my coffee house . Erez suggested Haya and Manoch that if they are planing to start a new Israeli house in Arambol,,North Goa why not they can think about me and finally they asked me so many time to make my mind to join Israeli house in Goa. finally I was agreed and we all decided to work together in Goa.
it was very new venture for me same season (Oshra ) friend of mine joined me up to Goa to help me to set up the place at Israeli house. she was the biggest blessing for me to start a new place with new people and style.Any way some how in the month of Nov. we done setup for the place.It was Israeli house and garden turned in to Dylan's Toasted & Roasted Coffee House.Popularity of coffee house helped to bring so many young Israelis to warm house and so many people came to know Dylan's because of Israeli House.coffee house was open for any one can come and enjoy the taste and Israeli house was dedicated for Israeli peoples need and help.
We started working together,going to different beaches to tell Israeli travellers that now there is Israeli house for the Israeli people.what kind of work we do, what kind of facilities now we have.work started with massive crowd and need. still remember young girls and boys in desperate need and Haya & Manoch some time never slept whole night awake to be with these flip out youngsters,sick,lost and many more. they became parents for these youngster away form real home.they cryed with them they laughed with them,every day I seen them working extra hours,always with concern and responsibility,I never seen them that their phone is switch off their phone use to always on.
I always called them Ima & Abba they are like for this pure and real relation.I feel joy to call them with this relationship.Till today they are just like parents for me and many others. some time I use to make fun of Manoch with new name that was Half naked man,because Goa was hot for him and he always use to run around only with his half lower,even some time he use to address gathering on Sabbath night without upper clothes. that was real freedom with out any boundaries.given such kind of atmosphere where every one feel loved,cared and accepted.
same year when Mr. Elisahi visited Israeli house it was great event for the house,more then 200 people gathered to attend this event.BBC documentary Israels flip out generation was made on this event and Mr. Ministers visit also captured on this Video.
there was great work started my this incredible couple.so much real life and benefit for the nation of Israel inside India.they both became milestone for the work of Israeli house inside India.I always look them as a inspiration for me to work constantly for the generations specially for the young Israelis inside India.from last six years my heart is more and more into loving nation of Israel and its people.today my close friends are Israelis.My first visit to Israel was most amazing experience.If any thing is beautiful inside Israel its the people of Israel. today Dylan's Toasted & Roasted Coffee House in Old Manali and Arambol,Goa is serving thousands of Israeli travellers and other bag packers during the tourist season.few years back if Haya and Manoch never forced me to join them today there might be no Dylan's in Goa. Iam always thankful for their Long term Vision.and concern.
I just got some Inspiration from them and today Dylan's Toasted & Roasted coffee House is always helping Israeli Traveller when they are in need,Last year during my trip to Israel and first fan club gathering i announced Thank you India programme where I ask Israeli traveller to give only one weeks volunteer work in India any where, where ever they are traveling My job is to recommend the right agency for them so they can volunteer their.which will help them to change the picture of Israelis in side India.and they will learn more about India when they mix with the real need and people. זיכרונות שמעלים בך שמחה
בשנת 1999 פגשתי נשמה יפה (Janic Voth) מ- קנדה היא הייתה התיירת הראשונה שפגשתי במנאלי.נשמה יהודית. שעזרה לישראלים ויהודים ולמי שיש התקפים פסיכוטיים עקב שימוש עמוק בסמים , לעיתים נפגעי הסמים איבדו את רכושם, או שהיו זקוקים לכל עזרה שהיא . מאז אני מחובר ל- Janic ואנחנו עוזרים לתרמילאי הישראלי. עדיין זוכר אני את החוויה הראשונה שלי עם בחורה אחת ישראלית, שהבאנו לבית החולים כשהיא הייתה במצב מאוד רע. הייתה בהלם כאשר החבר שלה ברח. לאחר חיפוש עם המשטרה במסיבת סמים בג'ונגל, והיא כבר 5 ימים על מנות סם נוספות. שמרנו עליה בבית חולים עד שאבא שלה בא ולקח אותה בחזרה לביתה .המשכנו לעזור ולהתעניין אצל האנשים ולשאול אותם אם הם צריכים כל דבר או אם יודעים על איזה אחד הזקוק, שיודיעו לנו ונעזור.במהלך השנים עזרנו לישראלים רבים, והתחברנו איתם. עד 2005 עזרנו לחברים ישראלים רבים כל כך .
בשנת 2005 נפגשתי עם גבר יהודי בשם ג 'סי מארה"ב . הוא בא עם רעיון להקים בית קפה בעיר העתיקה של מנאלי כבסיס עסקי. ושם נוכל לעזור לאנשים מישראל .הוא בעצמו התחיל עם בית הקפה ואת הפגישות עם הטייל הישראלי. ממנו למדתי רבות אודות ישראל, יהדות וחברות.
השרות הצבאי כאן בהודו עזר לי הרבה כדי להבין אותם. עם הרבה אנשים נגעו לליבי. כך שאני יכול להבין אותם. בשנת 2006 כאשר חברי ג 'סי חזר לארה"ב הקפה נסגר. אני באותו הזמן איבדתי את העבודה הקודמת שלי. הייתה לי פחות עבודה, פחות תקווה ודיכאון, כמה חברים עזרו לי להקים מחדש ולהתחיל לנהל את בית הקפה.. חבר שלי שעזר Michela על ידי תרומת כמה ציורים., עוד חבר סטיב עזר לי עם 1500/-Rs מזומנים . בכסף זה השתמשתי כמו בזרע. ידידי ג 'סי עזר לי על ידי תרומה של 40 ק"ג גרגרי קפה. מיקלה תרם צבעים מעורבבים – שאריות- ויחדיו ערבבנו את כל הצבעים וצבענו את הקיר הישן. הצבע שהופיע היה צבע אפור. אפור עבורי הוא צבע של אמונה , אלוהים בחיי, איך אלוהים סיפק צרכיי. עד היום בבית הקפה שלי צבוע בצבע אפור כדי להזכיר לי נאמנותי לאל ואת ימי הקשים בתחילת ניהול בית הקפה שלי.
צד אחד של הקיר בבית הקפה שלי יש ציור שצויר עם התמונה של 'בוב דילן'. זו התמונה צוירה על ידי חמישה טיילים. המגע הסופי ניתן על ידי חברתי קרן מישראל, ועכשיו היא מתגוררת בלונדון עם בעלה דני. בבית הקפה החלה העונה ולאט לאט אנשים התחילו להכיר את המקום הזה והתיירים החלו לפקוד אותנו. חולפת השמועה מפה לאוזן ונוסעים אחרים באים לבית קפה,זה שבו הקפה טעים ויש תמונה של 'בוב דילן' על הקיר. מטיילים ישראלים החלו לקרוא לנו 'קפה דילן'.
לאחר הרצה של שנה אחת החבר שלי אריק אמר שזה שם המקום. 'קפה דילן'. אריק הוא האיש שלימד אותי לעשות עוגיות שוקולד צ'יפס טעימות ביותר, עוגיות אלה פירסמו אותי. יש לי קבוצה גדולה כמו מועדון חברים אוהדים בפייסבוק . בעקבות הצלחת העוגיות שוב שונה שם בית הקפה , בית קלייה וקפה דילן
באותה עונה, יום אחד פגשתי את חיה & מנוח, נשמות יפות ביותר. הם אהבו את הקפה שלי.
הם היו בתפקיד וטיפלו בבית הישראלי החם במנאלי העתיקה. לראשונה פגשתי את שלוש בנותיהם, אורטל, יפעת & דולב, שהן אחיות יפות בחיים שלי. אחד הקינוחים הכי פופולאריים בבית הקלייה והקפה דילן נקרא 'שלום למלכה' אותה רקחה לראשונה במוחה – יפעתהצלחה מסחררת .
אז באותה עונה פגשתי גם צלם מוכשר מחיפה (ישראל) ארז . שמאוחר יותר הוא הפך לאחד מידידי הטובים בחיי. עודדתי אותו לעשות תערוכת צילום שלו, ואכן עשה אותה ב 'בית החם' . הוא הדפיס תמונות שלו לכדי גלויות.כעסק משותף. הגלויות שלו נמכרות היטב בדילן קפה. ארז הציע לחיה ומנוח, שאם הם יקימו בית ישראלי חדש ב- Arambol, צפון גואה, שכדאי לחשוב לקחת אותי איתם.
הם שאלו אותי כל כך הרבה פעמים בעקשנות.חששתי. הזמן חלף כי הייתי צריך להפוך בדעתי כדי להצטרף לבית הישראלי בגואה . הוסכם וכולנו החלטנו לעבוד ביחד בגואה.
היה זה מיזם חדש מאוד בשבילי באותה עונה (אושרה) חברה שלי הצטרפה אלי לנסיעה עד גואה כדי לעזור לי להגדיר את המקום בבית הישראלי.
זו הייתה ברכה הגדולה ביותר בשבילי להתחיל במקום חדש עם אנשים חדשים ובדרך חדשה בסגנון אחר. זכור אני איך בחודש נובמבר עשינו ההתקנה במקום היה בית וגינה . בית הקלייה דילן קפה עזר להעלות את פופולריות של הבית החם. הקפה והעוגיות סייעו להביא צעירים ישראלים רבים . הבית החם היה פתוח עבור כל אחד. כל אחד יכול היה לבוא וליהנות מהטעמים . הבית הישראלי הוקדש עבור העם הישראלי המטייל שהיה זקוק לעזרה.
התחלנו לעבוד יחד, הולכים לחופים שונים לספר למטיילים הישראלים כי עכשיו יש בית ישראלי, ולחשוף את הישראלי לסוג של העבודה שאנחנו עושים, ואיזה סוג של מתקנים קיימים בבית. עכשיו התחלנו לעבוד עם הקהל ואני הייתי צריך להיערך לכמות מסיבית של אנשים ומבקרים. עדיין זוכר נערות צעירות ונערים נזקקים נואשות לסיוע ואיך חיה ומנוח תמכו בהם. זוכר אני כמה זמן לא ישנתי כל הלילה והייתי ער כדי להיות עם הצעירים האלה ולא להעיף החוצה, חולה,או אחד אחר שאיבד דרכו .רבים הסיפורים. חיה ומנוח הפכו להורים של הילדים האלה - בית אמיתי, הם בכו איתם, צחקו איתם. כל יום אני ראיתי אותם עובדים שעות נוספות, תמיד עם הדאגה והאחריות, אף פעם לא ראיתי אותם נחים. כי הטלפון שלהם מעולם לא כבה. הם נתנו את מספר הטלפון שלהם לכל דורש כדי שיפנה בעת צרה.
אני תמיד קורא להם אמא & אבא הם אוהבים אותי ואני אותם . בננו קיים רגש של חמימות רבה,
זהו רגש טהור ואמיתי אני תמיד מרגיש שמחה לקרוא להם כך.
עד היום הזה הם בדיוק כמו ההורים שלי ושל רבים אחרים.
חלק ארוך של העונה בגואה , מזג האוויר היה חם מאוד, אני היית קצת צוחק עם מנוח בלעג שהוא צריך שם חדש,
כי היה מסתובב בגלל החום חצי עירום. הגבר הערום.אפילו הוא נהג
ל 'אסוף' אל הבית מטיילים כשהוא חצי לבוש.
זה היה חופש אמיתי חוצה גבולות מכל אווירה שבה כל אחד מרגיש אהוב, שאכפת ממנו והוא מקובל.
באותה שנה, ביקר השר אלי ישי בבית הישראלי החם
זה היה אירוע גדול בבית, וגם גדול מבחינת הביטחון ההודי.
אז מעל 200 אנשים התכנסו כדי להשתתף בביקור.
הביקור תועד ע"י צוות של סרט תיעודי שהוקרן ב- .BBC –
עבודות ההכנה לביקור היו רבות מאוד.
חיה ומנוח הביאו תועלת אמיתית לעם ישראל בתוך הודו.
שניהם הפכו אבן דרך בשל עבודתם בבית הישראלי בתוך הודו.
היום דילן בית הקלייה והקפה מופעל במנאלי העתיקה וארמבול, גואה.
בהן מבלים אלפי מטיילים ישראלים ואחרים ,האורזים תיק על גב בעונת התיירות.
לו לפני כמה שנים חיה ומנוח לא הכריחו אותי להצטרף אליהם, יש מצב שלא היה קיים היום בית הקפה דילן בגואה.
אני תמיד אסיר תודה על החזון ארוך הטווח והדאגה.
נכתבו פרקים מדהימים בחיי .
היתה עבודה רבה זה היה מדהים. כל כך הרבה תועלת אמיתית לעם ישראל בתוך הודו.
חיה ומנוח הפכו אבן דרך עבור הישראלים שפקדו את הבית הישראלי החם בתוך הודו.
אם אני צריך קצת השראה אני לוקח מהם.
לולא הם, היום דילן בית הקלייה והקפה לא היה קיים.
דילן קפה תמיד עוזר לטייל הישראלי,
בשנה שעברה במסגרת הטיול שלי בארץ נפגשתי עם חלק מהאוהדים .
כמו כן רואיינתי ע"י כתבת רדיו והעליתי הצעה כי כל תרמילאי יתרום שבוע מטיולו בהתנדבות בהודו.
צוות דילן תמיד נחלץ לעזרה של אנשים ישראלים .
